To get the most out of marketing, it’s crucial to have both perspective and experience. Some marketing teams have one quality but lack the other, causing them to spin their wheels rather than push the business forward. Additionally, it can be difficult to find leaders with both qualities.
One solution is to pull from established marketers with diverse backgrounds. This not only offers an outside perspective, but also draws from multiple disciplines of business. Kathleen Booth has led a long and impressive career across several industries, and now offers up some of her greatest lessons.
